The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every repair Coldharbour Heating & Air performs is backed by a written guarantee that runs for a full 365 days from your service date. If the repair doesn’t hold within that window, we come back and make it right at no charge – no forms to file, no fees, no argument. The guarantee is on paper before the technician leaves your door. That’s The Kingswell Guarantee, and it means exactly what it says.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship. If a repair we performed fails because of how we did the work, the return visit and the corrective work are both on us.
- Parts we supplied and installed. If a component we sourced and put in fails within the 365-day window, we replace it and do the labor at no additional charge.
- The return visit itself. There is no diagnostic fee, no trip charge, and no “assessment visit” billed separately. If the repair failed, the visit is free.
- The re-do, start to finish. We don’t patch a patch. If the repair needs to be redone properly, we redo it properly.
- Clean-up, again. The Kingswell Way says we leave the place cleaner than we found it – that applies to the return visit just as much as the first one.
- Your peace of mind during the window. If something feels off before the 365 days are up, call us. We’d rather you call twice than sit with a system you’re not sure about.
What Isn’t Covered
- Damage from events outside our control. A lightning strike, a flood, a falling tree – if something happened to the system after we left and it had nothing to do with our repair, that’s a different problem. We’ll still come look and tell you honestly what we’re seeing.
- Work done by someone else. If another contractor touched the system after our visit and something went wrong, the promise covers our work only – not theirs. That’s fair to everyone.
- Parts the homeowner supplied. We stand behind components we sourced. If you asked us to install a part you brought in, we can’t guarantee something we didn’t select or test before installation.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install. A 15-year-old blower motor that runs its natural course isn’t a failed repair – it’s an aging system. We’ll explain the difference plainly when we’re there.
- Problems we flagged and you chose to defer. If we noted a second issue during the visit and you decided to hold off on it, a later failure tied to that issue isn’t covered under the promise for the original repair. We document what we found and what we recommended, so there’s no guesswork later.
- Anything we didn’t perform. The promise covers the specific repair on the specific visit. That’s the scope – no more, no less.
None of those exclusions are here to trap you. If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, just call and describe what’s happening. We’d rather spend five minutes on the phone sorting it out than leave you guessing.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (817) 402-2972 or book online
A live person answers every call, every day of the year – no voicemail tree, no after-hours runaround. Tell us the repair isn’t holding and we’ll get moving right away.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done
You don’t need to dig out a receipt. We have the job on file – the date, the technician, the work performed, and the parts used. There’s no form to fill out and no fee to trigger the process.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll give you a real arrival window, the same way we did on the first visit. You’ll know when to expect us – not a four-hour range that eats your whole day, an actual window we intend to keep.
Step 4: We make it right
The technician comes back, figures out what didn’t hold, and corrects the work. If it needs a part, we bring the part. If it needs more time, we take the time. The promise doesn’t close until the job is done right.
Timing
The 365-day window starts on the date of your original service visit – that date is on the written guarantee you received before the technician left. If something comes up at day 364, the promise still applies. If something comes up at day 366, call anyway. We’re not in the business of turning people away over a day on the calendar, and we’ll look at what’s happening before we say anything. Each Coldharbour location is independently owned and operated, but every one of them works to the same Kingswell Guarantee – the promise travels with the work, not with a particular address.
Questions About the Promise
If you have a question about whether your repair is covered, or you just want to talk through what’s happening with your system, call (817) 402-2972. A real person picks up every time. There’s no claims department, no hold music, and no form – just a straight answer from someone who knows the work.
