AfterHVAC Company in Wilton Manors, FL
Most HVAC calls in Wilton Manors run $150-$650 for repairs and $3,500-$7,500 for a full AC installation, with same-day response available when you call (817) 402-2972. We’re Coldharbour Heating & Air, and we dispatch to Wilton Manors from our Miami office with technicians who know this city’s unique challenges: the brackish canal air that eats condenser coils, the 1950s-1970s ranch homes with retrofitted ductwork, and the year-round cooling load that keeps systems running hard from March straight through November. Victor Mancini leads our operation, and every job we do here is backed by our written 365-Day Done Right Promise.
Why Wilton Manors Homes Are Different
Wilton Manors isn’t like the rest of Broward County. The “Island City” sits nearly surrounded by the Middle River and its canal network, and that water changes everything about how HVAC equipment ages here. Outdoor condenser units breathe persistently moist, brackish air year-round, accelerating corrosion on coils, electrical disconnects, and refrigerant line sets faster than you’d see just two miles inland in Oakland Park or Tamarac. We see it on every service call: fin degradation, fastener rust, and control-board failures that simply don’t match the equipment’s calendar age.
The housing stock compounds the problem. Most homes are 1950s-1970s concrete-block ranch structures, many renovated during decades of neighborhood investment. Those renovations often layered modern split systems onto original attic ductwork that was never designed for forced-air cooling. The result is leaky, unbalanced distribution in a city where AC runs essentially 12 months a year, bleeding efficiency and wearing compressors prematurely. When we quote work in Wilton Manors, we always inspect the duct path, not just the mechanicals, because the two are rarely matched here.
Our Main Wilton Manors Services
These are the three calls we handle most often in Wilton Manors. Each has its own dedicated page with deeper detail on local conditions and pricing.
AC Repair in Wilton Manors
AC repair in Wilton Manors means dealing with systems that run 8-10 months straight through South Florida’s humid subtropical summers. We see refrigerant leaks from corroded line sets, failed capacitors from salt-air exposure, and compressors laboring against ductwork leaks they were never sized for. Our technicians carry parts for Trane, Lennox, Goodman, and Rheem units on every truck, and we issue a written 365-Day Done Right Promise before we leave. AC Repair in Wilton Manors
Furnace Repair in Wilton Manors
Yes, Wilton Manors furnaces do run, especially during January cold fronts when humidity makes 55 degrees feel colder than it is. Most heating here is electric heat-strip backup in air handlers, with a minority of gas furnaces in newer builds or converted spaces. We handle igniter failures, sequencer problems, and airflow restrictions caused by the same leaky ductwork that plagues cooling season. Every repair gets our written upfront price and the same 365-day guarantee. Furnace Repair in Wilton Manors
AC Installation in Wilton Manors
New AC installation in Wilton Manors requires load calculations that account for the city’s actual conditions, not textbook Broward County numbers. We size for 12-month runtime, elevated humidity from canal proximity, and the efficiency penalty of aging ductwork. Our crews specify marine-grade coil coatings and coated or stainless fasteners as standard practice here, not upsells, because we’ve watched untreated units fail in 3-5 years on canal-adjacent properties. You’ll get a written fixed price, a scheduled install date, and all rebate paperwork handled. AC Installation in Wilton Manors

What Wilton Manors Customers Say
"The repair was done well and quickly. Scheduling over the phone was a little clunky and I got transferred twice, but the tech himself was great and on time."
- Brett Haygood"Furnace was short cycling all winter. They diagnosed a bad sensor instead of condemning the whole unit like I feared. Cheap fix, honest call."
- Russ Tiedemann"Thermostat and a weak blower. Fixed both in one visit, explained the guarantee, and didn't leave a mess. I've already recommended them to my neighbor."
